1. Information We Collect

NAMI may collect and process the following information:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • NIDA number or member identity details
  • Member number
  • Wallet address
  • Financial activity data such as shares, loan requests, guarantees, repayments, and profit records
  • Technical app information required for app operation and security

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage member accounts
  • Authenticate users securely
  • Process shares, loans, guarantees, repayments, and approvals
  • Display personal and society-level financial information
  • Maintain transaction integrity and auditability

3. Storage and Security

Sensitive local credentials are stored using secure device storage mechanisms where supported. Certain financial and member records may also be synchronized with blockchain-connected services used by the application workflow.

We take reasonable steps to protect data against unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

4. Data Sharing

NAMI is intended for internal microfinance group operations. Data may be visible to authorized leadership roles within the group, such as chairperson, secretary, or treasurer, where required for approvals, audits, or transaction processing.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

5. Blockchain and Financial Records

Some transactions handled through NAMI may be recorded or verified through blockchain-integrated infrastructure. Transaction-related information may therefore become part of a persistent ledger according to the rules of the underlying platform.

6. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for keeping their PINs, recovery details, and devices secure. If a device, PIN, or wallet credential is compromised, users should report it immediately to the group administrators.

7. Data Retention

Data may be retained for as long as necessary to support member services, internal financial recordkeeping, legal obligations, operational audits, and transaction history requirements.

8. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law and group policy, you may request access to, correction of, or clarification regarding your personal data held through NAMI.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updated versions should be published with a new effective date.
